Information we collect

When you sign the guestbook, we collect your name, email address, country, message and selected or detected language. The server may also create limited technical logs, such as request time, IP address, browser or device type and pages accessed.

How we use it

We use this information to receive and review submissions, approve or reject messages, publish approved entries, create an English translation when needed, contact you about your submission, protect the service from abuse and maintain the website. Submitting a message does not guarantee publication.

Guestbook publication and moderation

Submissions are stored in the website content-management system and may be sent to a private Telegram group used by moderators. If approved, your name, country or “Country not provided” indicator, original message, language and English translation may be displayed publicly.

Your email address remains private and is never displayed in the public guestbook.

Automatic translation

When a message is not written in English, its text and language information may be sent to an external machine-translation service. The translation is shown separately and never replaces or changes the original message.

Service providers

Hosting, content management, moderation and translation providers may process information on our behalf, including outside your country. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose it when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the website and its visitors.

Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the guestbook, maintain published messages, handle moderation, prevent abuse and meet applicable obligations. Published messages may remain visible until removed by Hoenix or following a valid request from the author.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information. You may also ask for a published guestbook message to be removed. Reasonable information may be requested to confirm that you are its author.

Local listening history, cookies and analytics

After a Hoenix track has played for 30 seconds, the public music player stores the release identifier and a listening counter in your browser’s local storage. This history is used only to offer the “Your listens” order. It stays on that browser and is not sent to Hoenix’s server or presented as global popularity data.

You can remove the complete listening history at any time with the “Clear listening history” control beside the music catalog or album player. Clearing this website’s data in your browser also removes it and resets the order. The public website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Essential session cookies may be used in the private administration area.
