Originally from Cannes, this self-taught musician learned to play the piano and various classical instruments. In 2005, out of simple curiosity, he installed music production software. This experience marked the beginning of a journey dedicated to composition and sonic exploration.
Over the years, his relationship with music evolved into a profound inner quest. He was naturally drawn to melancholic melodies, stripped-back sounds, and atmospheres conducive to contemplation. Nature also plays a central role in his creative process, he sometimes isolates himself in the forest for weeks to reconnect with himself, all while recording ambient sounds to enrich his compositions.
For Hoenix, music goes beyond mere artistic practice: it gives profound meaning to his existence. It allows him to share a vision rooted in love, peace, introspection, and freedom, while bringing together people from diverse backgrounds through a shared experience.
In 2016, he left the south of France for Paris, the City of Light, with the ambition of giving new momentum to his music. His work began to find an audience on social media, particularly thanks to the track "Introspection," which surpassed one million streams.
Three years later, in 2019, he chose to return to his home region and step away from the urban bustle to devote himself fully to creation. He settled in the heart of nature, where he gradually built his own production studio inside a country house.
This return to his roots marked a turning point in his artistic journey and gave rise to a new vision for his debut album, "Collapse." After six months of intense work, the project took shape, characterized by an atmosphere that is at once dark and luminous. Each track explores deep emotions and invites the listener on an inner journey, a path weaving through introspection, liberation, and a quest for peace.
In 2020, Hoenix signed with the prestigious label Epic Music World for the release of “Samsara,” a composition inspired by Buddhism and featuring the duduk, an Armenian woodwind instrument, which he played for the first time.
In 2021, following a diagnosis of bipolar disorder, his creative process went through a particularly grueling period. Despite these obstacles, he managed to regain his artistic momentum and composed his second album, "Serenity". Inspired by spirituality, the project aims to unite diverse sensibilities around a unique body of work and a universal message.
After hitting rock bottom, Hoenix is gradually becoming the person he always wanted to be: both athletic and creative. He engages in daily physical activity and maintains a lifestyle that is as healthy as possible. He neither uses drugs nor drinks alcohol. He cooks his own meals, strictly limits his sugar intake, and practices intermittent fasting. Even when he "smokes," it is merely a cigarette-shaped placebo.
This daily discipline provides him with a genuine framework for living, allowing him to care for his body and mind while devoting his full energy to artistic creation.
In 2022, he released his third album, "Liberty", conceived as a musical diary. In it, he explores his deepest truths, addressing the fear of judgment, the quest for emancipation, and inner freedom. This album marks a new milestone in his personal and artistic journey, as he manages his bipolar disorder with the help of a psychologist and crucially, the unwavering support of an escort girl.
In 2023, Hoenix continued this trajectory with "Mastery". Conceived as a quest for self-transcendence and a reconnection with human potential, the album draws inspiration from extreme experiences, such as under-ice freediving and the world of underground fighting. Through a more intense aesthetic, he explores self-mastery, inner strength, and the act of pushing beyond his own limits.
In 2026, he began work on his fifth album, "Elite". He envisions this new chapter as a transition toward a form of spiritual awakening and inner transformation. The album draws on extreme sensations, such as skydiving and bungee jumping. It explores the end of certain patterns of psychological suffering, reconnection with the divine, and the possibility of opening a new path toward a deeper consciousness.
Through each of his projects, Hoenix pursues the same quest: to transform his experiences, questions, and intuitions into music, and to use the creative process to convey a unique vision of love, freedom, and awakening.
